Former Presidents
1971-1982 - Bob Lehman
Lehman first became a farm system manager in 1971.  At the time, there were 8 major league teams playing on Sauer Field and 8 farm teams (wearing caps only) playing on the minor league field now known as Cantine #2.  There was also Grasshoppers on Saturday morning (4 teams of 8 year olds).  No girls sofball and no T-ball.

1983-2007 - Gladys Hutton
Hutton began as a statistician and publicity chairman for the league in 1973  and continue through 1981.She brought the softball proggram to the SLL and was one of its original Managers, formed in 1974. She managed six different Girls Little League All-Star Teams from 1974 – 1981. In 1976, Hutton led the Saugerties Girls All-Stars all the way to the New York State Championship, losing a heart-breaker in the championship game to Spring Valley at Gil Hodges Stadium in Brooklyn. In 2008, Field #4 - the field Hutton Built was dedicated in her honor.
